In accordance with current legislation on data protection or RGPD (General Data Protection Regulations) we inform our customers that the data provided through the website via forms or emails, that are considered personal information, will be managed securely by Spanish Wines and Spirits, as the data controller responsible for your information.
We collect and store the following information regarding visitors to our website:
Personal account data e.g. name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, ID/NIF/CIF. This data is gathered during checkout, and in your account, if you opt to open one. We do not disclose any personal information to third parties unless it is essential to a transaction process, e.g. the delivery of your order requires that we share your shipping details with the transport company. Also making a payment for an order requires that our secure payment gateway contacts your bank or Paypal.
If you sign up to our mailing list, you may also receive other emails with information about us or our products. In addition, you could receive an email from the transport company with the tracking number of your order or to communicate any incident related to its delivery. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose and it will not be disclosed to third parties.
Your personal data is stored securely on our server and is confidential. Spanish Wines and Spirits guarantees that all the necessary security measures have been taken in accordance with the current technology to guarantee to avoid the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of the personal data provided.
In the exceptional case that there was a security breach and this information was compromised, we would notify you via email.
Google Analytics and Matomo (Piwik)
We use both Google Analytics and Matomo (Piwik) to measure the performance of the web and, therefore, improve its effectiveness. None of these data measurement platforms compiles absolutely any personal data. Google Analytics and Matomo track your route through our site (for example, it tells us which pages you visit, how long you stay on a page, the speed of loading the page in your browser, etc.). The only information we receive that does not belong only to the activity on our website is the basic information about how you got to us, eg. if you clicked on a link from another website, what search keyword you used on Google, etc.
